My name is Jessica. Those who know me the best call me "Jess." I was born on February 24th, 1981. That makes me over the age of 25. Old. I live in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. Detroit also happens to be my favorite city. I have two cats named Isaac and Coco. They are cute in their own unique ways.

Overall I like a lot of things...

I have a general interest in the arts. Music, duh. I studied architecture and developed a great love for the buildings of Detroit. When I'm not lazy, I like to photograph buildings. I don't visit the art museum as often as I should. Interior design is also something I take interest in...and I'm all about Mid Century Modern furniture.

Fashion...I'm a sucker for it. I used to be very particular about what brands I would wear, but now I'm more about a certain aesthetic. Not that I could describe it. I really only shop at three places: Target, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls. Wait, four: Forever 21 (maybe Forever 21 is more of a "3 1/2"). When I say "shop"...I mean shop...and that means I frequently visit these lovely stores usually times a week. Blame my mother for my shopping gene (then again my dad is guilty of liking shopping, too). And I would almost say it's true that I refuse to pay full price for anything.

In recent years, I've started working out and I've taken a liking to it. The hardest part of working out is starting. I used to attend Jazzercise but my schedule doesn't really allow it...so now I just run on a treadmill and do some strength training. I never thought I'd be a chick that would work out. At least I'll admit I thought wrong.

I really love the band Pearl Jam. That might be an understatement...but whatever! I've been obsessed since the age of 13. Yeah, you would have thought I'd be sick of them by now, but I'm not. One of my all-time favorite things to do is see the band live. Most "normal" people are taken aback by how much I have seen the band live...to me it's not enough. I've made some wonderful friends through this hobby of mine and it's nice to have insane people to relate to.

TV Shows: Six Feet Under (number one favorite), Lost, Heroes, Project Runway, The Office, My Name is Earl, Grey's Anatomy...man, I like a lot of tv...cause I could totally continue...

Movies: The Back to the Future Triology (I've been in love ever since I saw the first one...which was long before I understood most of it), Mallrats, Almost Famous, American History X, Road to Perdition and 8 Mile.

Actors: Jason Lee, Edward Norton, Giovanni Ribsi, Tom Hanks, Johnny Depp, and Steve Carell.

Pearl Jam Poster: Cincy 2003...you know, that show that didn't happen that has an outstanding poster?

Color: I LOVE the color green. Second would be brown. Third would be orange. Such feminine colors, huh?

Food: Pizza and corn on the cob (eaten seperately). And I love junk food...I lovingly call it "shit food" and it is great to eat all the time.
